So far this is doing everything I want from one of these dongles. It does run warm but I can live with that as many of them do. I like the fact that I have Ethernet, HDMI as well as the standard USB3 ports. I have tested the Ethernet and it worked fine for a rather long session. Have not yet tested HDMI as my personal setup uses DP so I will wait until a need for HDMI presents itself. Also, have not tested the SD card reader as I just haven’t had one but will and will update the review.
Also, power pass thru works great on my 13″ MacBook Pro.

Great Product. Using it with a MacBoo 2017, and so far everything works great, USB, hdmi, lan, etc. Heats a little when connected even without use, but is not so bad.

Great value for the money. It perfectly matches my golden macbook and is really handy. This will allow the user to either charge the laptop or utilize an external monitor without.
