So far this is doing everything I want from one of these dongles. It does run warm but I can live with that as many of them do. I like the fact that I have Ethernet, HDMI as well as the standard USB3 ports. I have tested the Ethernet and it worked fine for a rather long session. Have not yet tested HDMI as my personal setup uses DP so I will wait until a need for HDMI presents itself. Also, have not tested the SD card reader as I just haven’t had one but will and will update the review.

It doesn’t have as quality feel as I was hoping for, some of the metal edges aren’t smooth, etc, but it gets the job done.

Purchased to enhance the connectivity of my Lenovo Yoga 920 which had 2 USB-C ports. Works splendidly and gives me relatively quick write capability to the SD card. Speed seems limited only by the speed of the SD card itself. It also gives me a simple way to connect to our video conferencing setup at work via the HDMI port.

I had an adapter before, but there was a problem. My computer has a case protector, and since the adapter has no cable there is a small area that as part of the external case, don’t let me plug the adapter completely, so, sometimes it’s going to unplug easily. There is no such problem with the Letscom hub as it comes with a cable. It is exactly what I need. All the ports work flawlessly, and I can’t feel it getting hot when working. Great deal indeed!
