Loving these… the side of my house where I keep my garbage cans was so dark I could barely see what I was walking into. I’ve installed 2 of these to illuminate a 25′ stretch of walkway and they are working perfectly. The 1st was installed over a year ago and really helped but the 2nd really did the trick. It’s nice and bright and they engage readily. I have them set to go off after 30s instead of low light mode since its primarily for walkway illumination.

This light is amazing, plenty of light. I waited 3.5 months before writing this review because I didn’t have much hope for this and thought it will break! Well I was wrong, still kicking like a champ it has endured the crazy and heat melting Texas weather! Rain, Sun, etc! Strongly recommended it will pay for it self after a year or so! I have it on the dim light with the strong light coming up when it senses movement and even the dimmed light is strong, I am very satisfied! I hope they keep the good quality!

All I can say is wow! These things are impressively bright. The whole side of my house is now lit up with 2 of these light fixtures. I attached these to a brick wall. I did not use the hardware supplied, but it would be good for standard attachment of the fixture. I bought tap cons for mortar and drilled it to a 3/16″ size hole, 1″ inch depth using a mortar drill bit.(Don’t drill the brick!) If you are planning on using 2 sided tape, then don’t complain when you have a hack job and the stuff does not work or falls off and breaks. Do it right The first time! The sun only hits that side of the house for about 4 hours a day, as the sun goes behind some trees in a neighboring lot, and the lights get shaded. Here is the impressive thing. These things STILL come on at dusk (approx. 9 pm and stay on until dawn 630 am (possibly longer! Not sure I have to leave for work! Haha). It exceeded the limit of what it says they stay on for, and that is all that matters. I have it set for dim with motion detect. In this mode, I equate it to a halo ring on a camaro. It looks good, and it still provided ample light, with the longest run time. It has 3 settings. Full on, medium on with motion detect, and dim with motion detect. My only complaint is that the motion detector is hit or miss. The motion detector works good after initial movement is detected. It stays on until movement has ceased. It goes back to dim after 20 seconds of no movement. Sometimes it works from 20 feet away, or sometimes right at the light fixture. Not a big deal for me. I am just happy to have light over there for basically, free! It would have cost 1500 bucks to get the same results from an electrician, and paying the utility company to run them…(I know I had a quote done…). I mounted these about 7 and a half feet up, even though it recommends 5.5 to 6.5 feet up. I would highly recommend these fixtures. You will not be disappointed. Photos don’t lie!! I can’t believe there aren’t 5 stars across the board!! Great product for the cost.

Got it for my garage. Works great, and is very bright. The range is pretty good, and not so far out that someone walking on the sidewalk would set it off. With my truck parked in the driveway, anyone walking up to my drivers side door will set it off. I mounted it using the Scotch double sided Exterior Mounting Tape.

This light is excellent!! I have it on my front porch.
I keep it on Dim mode.
And motion detection.
When walking towards this light it goes to bright mode and lights up the whole area.
Even looks great on the house.
I Wil buy again.
Last all night long too.
Will keep you posted with winter coming.
The light made it threw all summer and all winter love them!!

Solar lights are always a hit or a miss. Most of the time they do not provide adequate lighting, either because of poor rechargeable batteries enclosed or because of a cheapinadequate charging mechanism. However, this product is an exception. I purchased three lights to illuminate the side of my house at night and I wasnt sure they would be enough to provide the amount of light I needed for when I take my dog out at night to poop. They are more than adequate. As others have mentioned, there are three settings to control how the light is activated. I prefer setting #2, which provides dim light after sunset hours and activates to full mode when motion is detected.
At this time of year in my area, the sun sets at 1900. The last time of the night I take my dog to poop is around 0200, and to my surprise, 7hrs later the side of house is still illuminated by the lights. Two of the lights are placed about 8 feet above ground floor and they are sensitive enough to pick up my medium dog. The 3rd one sits about 15 feet from ground. This one does not pick up my dog but it does pick up my big head when I walk by.
The lights come with screws to attach them to a wallroof. I am not too comfortable drilling holes on the wall of the exterior of my home so I purchased a “Scotch Outdoor Mounting Tape, 1-inch x 60-inches, Gray” from amazon. Scroll down and you’ll see it on the frequently purchased together section. That thing is like magic tape. I don’t know how, but its strong enough to hold 15 pounds per the label. I tried to take the lights off with moderate force and I was not able to. Much easier than drilling holes.
The only thing that bugged me, and its minor, not enough to dock a star, is that the settings toggle button sits on the back of the lights. In other words, it is not accessible after you place the item. So make sure you understand the three different settings before you place the item up high. Best thing you could is test it in the dark or cover the light sensor and see how the setting you picked works.
Very happy with purchase and will consider getting more for the back of the house as well.

Amazing Solar light. I got the double sided tape and put it on the side of my chimney to light up the driveway. Works amazing.
