The product was lightweight but solid and overall well-made. The material is sleek and comfortable, probably some high-quality aircraft aluminum. Product was nicely packaged in a box (looks like one of those Apple packaging box).
I tested it with my HP Probook 470 as I am waiting for my 2017 MacBook. It worked perfectly with my HP Probook. When the adaptor was plugged in to the laptop, it was recognized immediately. Both USB 3.0 ports worked just fine. I tried an external hard drive and a USB Bluetooth adaptor for a mouse, and the connections were stable. I haven’t tried the HDMI port yet because I still need to get a 4K Ultra HD TV; I will update my review as soon as I find out if it is 4K-compatible. I have used other cheaper USB hub products in the past and I noticed they tend to heat up very quickly. I wasn’t sure if the heat would cause damage to the adaptor and the devices connected. This product did not have the overheating issue – don’t get me wrong, it did get warm when it functioned properly, nothing to be concerned about though.
One minor issue, the hub could not read both SD card and TF card at the same time. I found out accidentally when I was trying to back up photos from my digital camera; it did not really cause much inconvenience to me though since I barely use memory cards anyway.
Overall I am very happy with this purchase. The product is pretty awesome at this price!

Mr WJ Zheng, I’m very happy that the device works better then I expected! The HDMI Port works flawlessly, Makes 12″ MacBooks more practical. This is a MUST by for any 2015 & newer 12″ MacBook User or any 2016 & newer MacBook Pro User.
